30-Day Challenge: Day Seventeen

Okay – here’s the deal. I’m not giving up. Nope. Not doing it, but I’m also not going to be an idiot. My aches and pains are a signal that I may be pushing a few things too hard. Four HIITs a week plus the push I’m doing with my walks is causing some difficulties for me. So, I’m making an adjustment – as much as it pains me.

I really should focus on the HIITs rather than the walks, but with my back still being sore and my HIITs having some impact elements that are likely exacerbating my issue, I’m going to stick with the 30-minute daily walk and track my HIITs back a bit to 2 per week, spaced out with at least two days in between.

Diet stays the same, all other goals stay the same. This just needed to be modified.

  • Got a little over 5 hours of sleep last night…
  • Quiet Time
  • Stretches and worked some on the roller for some back therapy
  • Solid 30-minute walk on the treadmill and got to the 2 mile mark – which felt really good
  • No HIIT

Onward to Day 18! Almost 2/3rds of the way there…
